The Camel Jumpers of the al-Zaraneeq

The sport of camel jumping is unique to Yemen, specifically along the Red Sea coastal region of Tihama. Shockingly simple, it consists of a row of camels lined up side by side. Starting with a single camel, additional camels are added as the contest progresses. The contestants sprint down a track at full tilt and deftly leap over the row of camels Evel Knievel style. Whoever can clear the most camels is declared victorious.
